We came here on a recommendation of a friend, and the food was really good! The service was also kind and nice, and very attentive! The pho is as good as Pho Hung!! The bowl is HUGE and very filling. I saw some folks even getting their bowl to go! One suggestion I would have is to offer a smaller pho bowl as a “side”, since we wanted to try both the pho and the steak, but felt like it would be too much to have both. We noticed a lot of families in the restaurant, so it would also be good for kids/teens who don’t have as large of an appetite. The steak was flavorful and juicy! The appetizer comes with 2 condiments (olive oil and chili oil) and 1 salad side, but honestly the meat is tasty enough without it. Same goes for the full steak dish, which only comes with the salad and vegetable garnishes. The Wagyu steak was part of the specials they had, so make sure to ask what their specials are! We also got free matcha cookies at the end of the meal, which was a pleasant surprise, and they were sweet and had good texture! We walked in without a reservation on Sunday afternoon (Mother’s Day), and there wasn’t much of a wait! It seemed to get more busy later in the afternoon. Might be better to make reservations if you’re coming with a larger group! Will look forward to coming back the next time we’re in Beaverton!
BEST steak in Beaverton!! Steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned, cucumber salad was refreshing, and drinks are DELICIOUS!! Highly recommend the lychee pear martini! The staff is always on point and so kind. Family that owns the place is super sweet and makes you feel so welcomed!!
Gorgeous family owned restaurant- and let me tell you their food is worth every one of the awards they've recieved. The tapicoa dumplings I think were the most unique delicious things I have ever had, and their (I assume) house made fish sauce that goes with them was so good I could drink it. I have a single dumpling pictured but it comes with 3. We also got the ribs (fall off the bone, juicy, flavorful magic) and the new york steak (highly recommend dipping it in their house chili oil and having it with a bite of rice). Speaking of the chili oil, make sure you get it on the side! Its a whole new flavor profile and as one of the owners, Helen ( who is also their mixologist) recommended, fabulous on the rice. If you cant handle spice do beware, it is subtle and builds and will hit you in the back of the throat in the best way. We cant wait to come back to try more of their menu, their drinks, and have more of the fabulous dumplings!
